(I guess I should've provided more context, myself!)

And speaking as someone who puts out about a blogpost once every month or two, I would love to be able to match you while you have "blogger's block".

Looking forward to the race report! :-)

JennAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18615538.post-70584694620333463172012-02-09T17:06:22.634-07:002012-02-09T17:06:22.634-07:00Jill, you NEED one of those beautiful Arrowhead 13...Jill, you NEED one of those beautiful Arrowhead 135 trophies.
MartyumaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18615538.post-91694066147882454412012-02-09T16:20:31.497-07:002012-02-09T16:20:31.497-07:00Wow. I'm ...Wow. I completely meant it as a joke.

I'm also a firm believe that if you can't make fun of yourself/your sport, you're taking yourself far too seriously. His blog has become a parody of itself schleping this-and-that and hiding behind criticism of the constant $5 dumbstuff just like Lance hides behind Cancer.

It may seem you two may have much in common, and perhaps even some readers in common, but you continue trend up, Fatty, not so much.

So I was a bit upset to see FC over here today in a form other than a picture of you in an old worn FC jersey. Someone else offered that she try walking it, and that's when she made that comment. I read it in the context of walking the entire race. I laughed, because that's precisely what I'm planning to do next weekend in Susitna (some jogging if conditions are good), and I honestly can't explain why I think that will be fun, but I do all the same. I didn't intend any offense. I consider myself a strong hiker more than a runner, and tend to take a self-depreciating stance when it comes to ultra-racing.

Beat bristled when he read that as well, so I should apologize to Eszter for misreading her statement. Perhaps I should just kill it from this blog post.Jill Homerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02983065990450931943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18615538.post-73265489439286051042012-02-09T14:24:22.476-07:002012-02-09T14:24:22.476-07:00Yeah, I know it's meant to be a joke, but I ha...Yeah, I know it's meant to be a joke, but I have to admit this:

"Walking is for people who can't think of anything fun to do."
