I can't imagine riding my bike in that!Cheastyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15150907215217140902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18615538.post-20111909128197456402008-10-17T13:49:00.000-06:002008-10-17T13:49:00.000-06:00Hi Jill, thank you !!!Every morning I start with ...Hi Jill, thank you !!!
Every morning I start with your blog and next year Iwould like to visit Alaska.
from my country ( Italy Alps)it seems you live in the best pleace on heart!!! ciao StefaniaStefaniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05687488556650427536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18615538.post-31149678056235714972008-10-17T07:59:00.000-06:002008-10-17T07:59:00.000-06:00Funny, I had a similar experience flying home from...Funny, I had a similar experience flying home from Chicago the other day. As I passed over the familiar mountains in Springville and saw Timp, Y Mountain, and the trail that winds from Squaw Peak to Hobble Creek I thought about how foreign yet familiar it all was.

Though I think it had more to to with my elevation perspective than the 3 days I was away. Mine comes from your neighbor to the east - Denver. I go home and it makes me sick that all the land is being developed and there are so many homes for sell that can be upgraded instead.

It sounds like a journey out of Alaska is growing in your mind. May wisdom be poured into you concerning your future. You make Alaska appear as big as it is in your stories and I hope they never end!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10435961166281655365noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18615538.post-28175078675190704322008-10-16T20:31:00.000-06:002008-10-16T20:31:00.000-06:00Best of luck Jill as your adventure/journey in lif...Best of luck Jill as your adventure/journey in life unfolds.

Kazimer - KazAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18615538.post-35490055609959592162008-10-16T16:56:00.000-06:002008-10-16T16:56:00.000-06:00I know it probably seems ridiculous coming from me...I know it probably seems ridiculous coming from me, a person who hardly knows you, but I just want to say that I totally and completely understand how one can never go home again. It is nice to look around every once in awhile and really appreciate your surroundings that you take for granted everyday.

And there has been insane development here! But the Mountains, for the most part, are still very rugged and untouched.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05971829321577186599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18615538.post-21517410671014185512008-10-16T16:03:00.000-06:002008-10-16T16:03:00.000-06:00I hope you never leave Alaska.
