I also relate to your need to hold on to the moment...and frustration that the pictures don't show what we see - they can only approximate the splendor. Rainbow pictures are near the top of the list of right time, right place --> take lots = good! =)Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12866053304972928398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18615538.post-85420402496367299942008-08-30T18:24:00.000-06:002008-08-30T18:24:00.000-06:00We need a picture of Sarah on a bicycle.William Bo...We need a picture of Sarah on a bicycle.

William BoydAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18615538.post-81838833677718421062008-08-30T12:59:00.000-06:002008-08-30T12:59:00.000-06:00These are absolutly gorgeous pictures, Jill. After a stressful day, I just want to crawl in bed. I am glad that you had such a beautiful and great ride!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05971829321577186599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18615538.post-62527711989815017102008-08-30T07:42:00.000-06:002008-08-30T07:42:00.000-06:00Big day for Jill too! Great shots and nice post, especially considering the crazy day you had!

Your pictures are so good, it's hard for us readers to appreciate that you're not out on a dedicated photo shoot but that you're really on a bike ride with a camelbak and you're stopping here and there to take snaps.

On a logistical side note, I assume you're still using your Olympus Stylus 770 SW? That little camera does you (and us) right! The 770 has a 38 - 114m lens. I do wish you could somehow use a wide angle lens sometimes. Alaska is bigger than a 38. Do you ever play with the editing features of the OLYMPUS Master Software or other software? Or do you simply download your pics with Picasa or similar? Just curious.AucillaSinkshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02085072007329506260noreply@blogger.com
