You will become more acclimated which will help but the main factor is mental. Sure, drink extra fluids and don't overdue but think of all the people who live in much hotter and humid conditions than you. They can do it, you can too. Relax and accept the heat. Don't fight it or dwell on it, just exist within it and relish the sweet things that are unique to the season.AucillaSinkshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02085072007329506260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18615538.post-65181670869634965842011-04-04T07:52:14.698-06:002011-04-04T07:52:14.698-06:00Fate took me to Florida many years ago, but I coul...Fate took me to Florida many years ago, but I could never get Colordo out of my head. I became known as the guy whowas always bitching about FL and comparing it unfavorably to CO. I finally moved back, and dragged my better half, who I met in FL and had never seen CO, with me. We've never regretted it. I think your love of Alaska will keep gnawing at you, and I bet you (both) figure out a way to get back eventually.Durango Joenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18615538.post-9436819242519549012011-04-04T04:51:12.414-06:002011-04-04T04:51:12.414-06:00awsome job at the white mts 100. Though running the Rim Trail, I think you're going to want to return on wheels when you realize how much of it is ridable.

Z-man, you ask an odd question. I can't speak for anyone else, but, in my thinking, all experiences help add meaning if you have the right perspective.
