You couldn't possibly know your limits because you'd never done it before and from the sound of it he was experienced. He had a responsibility to at least assess your skills before suggesting a trail. It's people like that who give us guys a bad name. Grrrr.

Me and my fiance are very experienced riders, 30 years of year round commuting between us, with moderate mountain biking skills gained in the Canadian Rockies. We took one look at the Slickrock Rim and headed out to Klondike Bluffs instead.Coelecanthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17886124862805759520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18615538.post-29021828399734431432007-03-14T09:40:00.000-06:002007-03-14T09:40:00.000-06:00Hehe. It's funny - that trail is super popular, but in retrospect it's asinine to take a beginner riding there. High consequence if you mess up. Seeing where you are now...he should have just taken you on a one day White Rim trip for you first ride.DV8https://www.blogger.com/profile/02624076571529977757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18615538.post-42101633534316238262007-03-14T04:19:00.000-06:002007-03-14T04:19:00.000-06:00Your stuburn...Nice story, very poor bf!Your stuburn...

Nice story, very poor bf!FixieDavehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04685170404057881390noreply@blogger.com
